Senior Software Consultant / Software Engineer - Embedded C / Low Level
I am currently seeking a pro software consultant to work at one of Cambridge's most triumphant software consultancies.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong software background with a strong knowledge of embedded systems.
My client is a consultancy and generally need people to be very self-reliant and self-sufficient, so the ideal candidate will be able to 'jump in feet first' and get struck in on day one.
Senior Software Consultant / Software Engineer - Embedded C / Low Level
• Fluent in Embedded C / C++
• Good knowledge of low level programming
• Past experience working in a consultancy is desired
• Development within Linux OS in embedded systems
• A good understanding of device drivers
• Open source knowledge
• A good understanding of ARM Processors
• An understanding on graphics drivers / Codecs
• Experience within STB, Network devices, Mobile, Avionics or Automotive would be preferable
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable speaking to clients and customers. Have excellent academics, preferably to degree level in a computer science or related course. You should be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
