Senior Software Developer at Picnic Software (Melbourne, Australia) (allows remote)
Job Description
We're looking for a talented and passionate software engineer to join our team for a telecommute position.
If you like to solve interesting problems and want to help guide our greenfield application development, have ideas on how to build great software, and like to work with other passionate developers, then we're looking for you.
Here at Picnic Software we're building a suite of intuitive, modern and individual-focussed applications with modern technology that makes development a pleasure. We have a 6 member development team in Melbourne.
With this position we're looking to grow our team with a highly expierenced remote worker who has a focus on delivering quality results. We would like to build a long term professional relationship with you to help us deliver our products.
The position is a fixed term contract to deliver specific features in collaboration with the Melbourne development team. A successful candidate who demonstrates their ability to work well with the team to deliver features, will have their contract extended for subsequent pieces of work.
We're looking for remote workers as we have a desire to grow the team quickly and believe a passionate candidate who's already set up for work from home and delivers quality outcomes will be a great asset to us. We are well set up to ensure a remote worker can easily get set up and starting shipping code, we achieve this via a team GitHub account, continuous delivery pipeline using TeamCity, and having our staging and production environment up on AWS.
