Senior Software Developer (C#, .Net) Job in Home Counties Uk
Our client is a global professional services company who are looking for a Senior Software Developer (C# and .Net 3.5) to work in their busy office.
Responsibilities for the Senior Software Developer role include:
Responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the RiskAgility product suite and their HPC and DataSynapse grid integration tools.
As a Senior Software Developer you will work with a global development team and interface with business analysts, developers, development team lead, architects, project managers and testers on analysis and design tasks.
Candidates applying for the Senior Software Developer role will need:
You will be focused on system analysis, design, coding and unit testing using C# and the .NET 3.5+ framework.
Some experience using newer technologies such as WCF and WPF as well as familiarity with SQL Server and LINQ.
Five or more years of commercial or professional C# experience,
Experience in the financial services industry would be a distinct advantage
Experience with .NET3.5 and Microsoft Technology Stack required (WPF, WCF,WWF,LINQ); preferably using Agile methodology
Experience building enterprise products and windows based applications required
Strong understanding of UML and object oriented modeling concepts
Exposure to and experience with SharePoint, SQL/T-SQL, Visual Studio Team Suite / Team Foundation Server or Model Driven Architecture a plus
Proven ability and success to work and communicate with both technical units (senior developers, architects) on analysis and design tasks as well as business units
Strong analytical ability
Good written and verbal communication
