Senior Software Developer – High Frequency Trading Systems recruitment
Susquehanna International Group (SIG) has an opening for an experienced Software Developer to join our technology team in the Philadelphia office. As a member of our team, you will work in a real time, high performance, high frequency, enterprise technology environment. You will design and develop large scale, robust, and high performing options trading applications with high capacity inputs and outputs, and multi-threaded code. You will challenge the limits of the Windows platform to provide new functionality to the business user.
This is a highly visible position within SIG. Respsonsibilities include:
• Responsible for the design, development and implementation of large, complex, distributed options trading software applications that satisfy complex business requirements
• Design and architect large-scale, broad based design specifications based on object-oriented programming in a heterogeneous technology environment using C# and C++
• Participate in all phases of SDLC from initial requirements through final quality assurance and implementation while maintaining a focus on defining and breaking down problems and creating robust solutions, systems and software architecture
• Responsible for requirements gathering and analysis
• Participate in strategic decision making for SIG’s options technology
• Proactively architect new procedures and practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline or its foreign equivalent with at least 7 years of design and development in one or more of C#, C++ or Java, preferably with some combination of C# on windows or C++ on Linux
- Ability to provide hands on functional and technical expertise in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business processes and application
- Ability to translate and communicate effectively between technologists and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with all aspects of the SDLC and agile methodology preferred
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to determine buy versus build
- Demonstrated experience with developing multi-threaded applications and with CPU and memory profilers
- Business experience within the Financial or Securities industry preferred
