Work closely and interact with clients to understand business requirements, translate those requirements into functional requirements and specifications, develop and maintain Gartner?s internally built Order Entry and related systems.  Work as part of a functional team responsible for Gartner?s Order Entry, Billing and Fulfillment applications to meet business requirements.  Perform software development based on new enhancements requests and bug fixes using broad range of technologies including Oracle forms, PLSQL and Unix shell scripts .  Work closely with Database team, infrastructure team and other development teams help integrate their applications (Siebel Oracle EBS) with Gartner?s Order Entry application.  Interact with Oracle and Gartner?s infrastructure teams on product-related issues and future product upgrades.  Effectively communicate and maintain relationships with all team members across the organization.  Apply Best Practices in carrying out development projects.

Qualifications

Requires advanced degree in CS, Engineering (any field), IS, Mathematics or a related field

Senior Siebel Developer with 6 to 7 years of Systems Analysis, Design and Oracle Development

Five plus years of Technical experience using Oracle Forms 6i toolset (Forms6i, Reports 6i) using PL/SQL library

Solid programming skills in SQL, PL/SQL (Java, Javascript, HTML, XML a plus)

Knowledge of Oracle Discoverer reporting tool a plus

Experience with database query tuning and ability to troubleshoot Oracle Forms issues

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to clearly articulate and present technical solutions
