Senior Software Engineer (Mobile)

Description:
Cashedge (part of Fiserv) is looking for an energetic Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) to join our newly formed mobile team to develop cutting-edge person to person payment applications on a variety of mobile platforms.
Job Duties:
- Work with product management to analyze business requirements and quick-prototype rich mobile clients for payment product.
- Work with user experience team to build mobile products with great user interface.
- Analyze and research latest and greatest device capabilities to enhance product usability and security.
- Responsible for technical design and architecture that emphasize performance, responsiveness, reuse and easy maintainability.
- Build mobile apps that interact with backend payment engine through Web Services APIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or foreign equivalent
- Three years of experience developing iphone and/or android applications. Iphone experience a must.
- Good understanding of mobile design patterns and principles such as data access, caching, authentication and authorization, exception management, device to server communication, et. al.
- Good understanding of device specific features and capabilities.
- Good understanding of Web Services.
- Financial application experiences a plus.
- Agile development experience preferred.
