Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for a team player with solid technical skills to join our NMS engineering team. Candidates must have a strong technical background and be capable of coming up to speed on new technologies quickly. Good communication skills, great problem solving skills, and the ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a team environment are required. - Implement, test and integrate network management software to control large networks of VSAT modems.
- Participate in determining the future direction of the Network Management System in the areas of infrastructure, redundancy, scalability, and high availability system.
- Play an active role in the development and deployment of the "Next-Generation" Network Management System.
Experience and Skills:
Skills ideal to have:
- C++, POSIX, SQL, Socket Programming, Inter-process communication (IPC)
Education:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong problem solving skills or hands-on-experience with the following:
- Experience with a relational database, such as MySQL or Postgresql.
- Experience with a web programming framework, such as GWT is a plus.
- Experiences with a POSIX operating system, such as Linux or BSD.
- Experiences with Distributed/Multi-Tier programming and IPC.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP sockets.

- Must be able to work in a fast paced development environment.
- Must be able to analyze and solve technical problems related to communications networks in a client/server, or multi-tier environment.
