Senior Software Engineer/ Architect (Java / J2EE)

£50,000 - £70,000 plus package
My client are in the enviable position of being the market leader in their field.
They develop, support and operate massive transactional systems which are handing millions and millions of transactions per day. This system needs to scale up dramatically to handle demand.
My client's systems are currently written in C and an in-house language but due to size and scalability requirements this needs to be replatformed over to Java.
You will either be an experienced Architect or a Senior Developer with a wealth of design experience who wants to make the next step up.
You will be working alongside the CTO and your responsibility will be to define the companies architecture moving forward. You will be from a financial, e-commerce or sports betting company where you are used to working with massive transactional systems.
Your Technical experience will include: JAVA/ J2EE, SOA, Oracle, Spring, EJBs, Web Services, Spring and Oracle Terracotta or Coherence.
