We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of software modules for projects, as directed by the project manager.

Skill requirements essential to your success include;

·         Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Computer Science

·         Demonstrated industry experience in the development of software components

·         Knowledge of Object-Oriented design methodologies including the use of UML

·         High level skills in the development of software using either : JAVA and Eclipse development environment or C++ and Visual Studio development environment

·         A working knowledge of Multi-threaded software design and implementation

 

Experience and knowledge in the following would further contribute to your ability to perform in this role.

·         Experience with the development of real time performance based applications

·         Experience and understanding of SDLC

·         A good working knowledge of SQL and XML

·         Experience with configuration management and defect tracking tools
