Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer – Greenwich CT, USA recruitment
The position is for a Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer to work for a leading Investment Management company within their Greenwich CT office. The position and the primary function is to create and maintain the companies web based applications for internal and external company web sites.
The Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer will be planning and developing web based applications primarily. There will be a level of maintenance work also required. The Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer will be required to include all phases from planning and design, writing code and business rules to documentation and end user education.?
The Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer will have extensive experience developing software applications in web environment - troubleshooting and fixing problems that arise in existing systems is also a requirement from the client.
Technical Skills required: Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer - Greenwich CT, USA
1.5+years of experience in a web development environment.?
2.Solid background in Unix/Linux environment
3.Basic shell scripting
4.Familiar with scripting languages such as Perl, PHP or Python
5.Experience working with SQL databases (MySql)
6.Knowledge of front-end development: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
7.Solid problem solving ability
