Senior Solution Consultant

 

 

Position Charter Experience

 

A Senior Solution Consultant is an active participant and responsible for pre-sale and post-sale support of BUs products and services. 

 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Senior Solution Consultant position responsibilities include:

 

·         Responsible for presenting the Vertafore AMS360 Agency Management Suite solution and positioning integration with Vertafore Agency Management Systems

·         Provides product demonstrations and technical support to sales team, resulting in closed sales opportunities

·         Knowledge of competitive landscape and how to position Vertafore’s strengths against the competition

·         Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning benefits of the Vertafore software suite of solutions for the Agency market

·         Ability to communicate effectively during on-site and remote presentations the value of Vertafore solutions offered for the Agency market

·         Creates custom web based and individual presentation for prospective and current clients to present new and current product offerings

·         Adheres to sales process including Customer Centric Selling and Demo2Win methodologies (previous experience with either is a plus)

·         Assists sales team in assessing potential application of Vertafore products to meet customer and prospect needs

·         Performs “follow-up” after sale with new client to insure satisfaction with product and continues to assist in nurturing customer relationships

·         Use the CRM system in a proficient manner to manage and report all customer and prospect activity

·         Participates in trade shows, user group meetings and seminars to interact with clients and demonstrate new products

·         Activities shall be conducted with the highest level of integrity and professionalism in such a manner as to not compromise Vertafore or its’ reputation

·         Assists in RFP responses proposal development as required

 

Professional Technical Competencies

 

·         Insurance Agency Management software application expertise

·         Strong technical knowledge of Vertafore’ solutions, competition and the marketplace

·         Strong understanding of an Insurance Agency’s workflow and business objectives, and ability to translate product knowledge into business benefits the solution will bring to solve the Agency’s business problems

·         Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required

·         Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence

·         Strong technical skills – WebEX, Visio, Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint and a working knowledge of marketing and graphics tools such as Adobe Acrobat and PageMaker

·         General Business

·         Understanding of general business issues including external factors that impact the insurance industry.

·         Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence.

 

Experience

 

·         Requires 4+ years’ sales/pre-sales experience and/or 3+ years implementing Vertafore Agency Management solutions.

·         Experience selling Document Management/Enterprise Content Management solutions a plus

·         Experience within a multi-dimensional operating environment is essential (i.e., not a mono-line, single market environment)

·         Experience in the Insurance Agency arena is preferable 

 

Education Requirements          

 

·         Bachelor's degree

 

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for consideration, visa sponsorship not available.  Candidates with at least 18 months left on your EAD may be considered.
