GENERAL SUMMARY:
Technical Sales is an integral part of the sales process providing pre-sales technical solution and presentations, and subject-matter expert who works closely with sales account managers to build customer relationship and prospects by demonstrating how a proposed technical solution meets and exceeds customer requirements.
The Senior Solutions Architect will focus on technical solution design and present end to end technical solution to customers, based on deep understanding of their business development needs and Huawei product portfolio. The Senior Solutions Architect must be detailed oriented and have in depth knowledge of networking hardware and software. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in all aspects of networking technology. The Senior Solutions Architect must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for network design of multi-product domain involved project of regional level project or corporate level.
- Assessing business and applications requirements for corporate data and voice networks.
- Planning, designing and upgrading solution strategy, through customer understanding.
- Developing and executing on a solution design that is competitive, deliverable, and profitable.
- Executing on a scalable project for department and regional successes.
- Subject Matter Expert providing technical review of regional projects, pointing out the problems and giving the effective suggestion for executive execution.
- Responsible for building and optimizing the Bidding tools.
- Achieving technical SOC and Quotation covered over two product lines.
- Coordinating and managing necessary network design resource for region and company level projects in North America, reducing operational cost.
- Understanding, estimating and influencing customer’s network solution effectively.
- Technical lead for regional projects, responsible for technical negotiation and clarification with the customer.
- Constituting and implementing solution competition strategy according the project completion strategy. Successful influencing product sale.
- Meet customer needs and exceed expectations by designing and executing a solution that is cost effective and advance the profitability
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Certifications/Licenses:
Minimum: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering; Telecommunications Engineering; Computer Engineering; Computer Science
Preferred: Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering; Telecommunications Engineering; Computer Engineering; Computer Science (CCIE PREFERRED)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
- 5+ years industry experience
- Strong Enterprise background, especially work experience in the area of Router / IP Switching solutions is a must
Preferred:
- 8 + years of sales engineering and/or technical engineering
- Industry recognition in IP/MPLS coupled with strong competency in branch aggregation architectures with specialization in branch voice, SIP trunking, TDM Gateways and/or WAN optimization technologies.

SKILLS :
Minimum:
- 5 years: Prepare IP test requirement and test scheme by analyzing, decomposing, modeling, and refining customer requirements.( Routers, Switch, FTTx, xDSL, Optical. IP Solutions)
- 5 years: Perform IP device integration test, certification test, validation test.
- 5 years: Design IP network solutions and connect requirements.
- 5+ years: Working knowledge of IP Network Protocols (Including but not limited to: TCP/IP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, Radius, TACAS)
- 5+ years: WLAN engineering and design work
- 5+ years: Specialization in Wireless Technologies such as Wi-Fi; WiMax; etc
Preferred:
