Senior Solutions Engineer – ASEAN recruitment

Responsibilities:

Own technical relationships with a large number of customers while sharing the accountability of customer base and revenue growth with a team of business representatives.
Understand complex business drivers of customers
Evangelize and to articulate complex technologies and at the same time, link those business drivers to a working technical solution.
Scope and be responsible for technical solutions so that Professional Services team can integrate these solutions
Identify new product features and additional sales opportunities during sales engagements and communication of the same to product development and sales teams
Working closely with RD and Product Management to be closely involved with future product direction and strategy - providing valuable input from "the field"
Supporting and educating Sales, Marketing and other internal departments to ensure that customers get appropriate updates, upgrades and event oriented solutions
Actively develop and mentor junior staff within the Solutions Engineering and Sales organizations

Requirements:

12+ years experience in a “customer facing” environment such as sales or technical consulting
University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
Network Security Experience is preferred. Sample qualifications should include CISSP certification
Prior experience in the Content Delivery Networks, Web Architecture, Applications testing/ optimization
Detailed knowledge across the spectrum of Internet technologies (DNS, TCP/IP internetworking, etc.)
Good knowledge about datacenters, web technologies, security (firewalls, IPS, IDS, Cryptography), web application servers
?Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills appropriate to both technical and management clients
Must be willing to travel to approximately 20%
Singaporeans/ PRs preferred
