This is a highly visible position in the Enterprise Solution Group responsible for defining, building, and driving the strategic messaging and marketing plan for the next generation of initiative-focused enterprise solutions. It is no small task, but this unique opportunity to effectively craft and eloquently communicate a differentiated, disruptive enterprise solution message that will result in an unprecedented impact on how we help enterprise customers grow and thrive, now and in the future.

As a take-charge thought-leader with obvious subject matter expertise, you will use your strong, convincing voice to work across multiple engineering, sales and marketing groups in order to drive strategic enterprise solutions internally and broadcast their unique value externally.

No stranger to highly-matrixed organizations and creatively thriving on ambiguity, you naturally balance the consistent need for creating compelling content with the dynamic needs of internal and external evangelism. You are proud, but not too proud, of your good mix of functional experience from the following areas, preferably from an enterprise software background or enterprise software + hardware background:

· Product Management

· Product Marketing

· Marketing Communications

· Public Relations

· Analyst Relations

Specific responsibilities may include:

· Develop global, relevant, differentiated messages and stories for complex solutions in support of launches, platforms and campaigns

· Design multifaceted marketing plans to increase awareness and develop credibility internally and externally

· Working in collaborative setting to influence and define marketing strategies

· Test messages with customers, analysts and regions to ensure relevance

· Drive solution and bundles messaging - across multiple product lines and solutions

· Drive customer research for understandings of key technology pain points, trends, and competitive analysis

· Leverage analyst relations, press relations and social media outlets

Additionally:

· 8+ years mixed Enterprise Software, Storage, Server and/or Network marketing experience highly desired

· 3+ years Virtualization or related software marketing experience a plus

· Any significant IT operations experience is a big plus
