This is a senior staff position for R/D engineering responsible for designing, developing and managing high temperature product families to serve the subsurface instrumentation market (Down Hole), on engine controls and rugged industrial applications requiring operation through temperatures of over 200 degree C. These product families are intended to be used in oil field applications such as wire line equipment and logging equipment. Product families include DC/DC converters, power bridges to RF amp and other power hybrids.
• Lead new product development of high temperature products 200 degrees and higher from conceptual design to product release
• Provide technical support, guidance and collaboration with high temperature engineering dedicated and support staff
• Participate in multiple projects in a fast paced product growth environment
• Participate in technical discussions with customers, evaluate customer requirements, and make technical proposals
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in material science or engineering is required. Masters degree preferred
• 10 or more years industrial experience in high temperature analog circuit design and applications
• Experienced with hybrid processes
• Experienced with circuit design, component and process qualifications for high temperature products.
• Familiar with concepts such as Worst Case Analysis, Stress Analysis, Thermal and Thermal-Mechanical Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
• Knowledge and working experience with Mil-Prf-38534 and other mil standards is a plus.
