Senior Strategic Sales – Risk Management and Analytics vendor recruitment
About our client:
An award winning, cross-asset, Portfolio and Risk Management vendor with offices in the US, London, Honk Kong and Sydney. Platform focuses on Derivatives Trading with key clientele being the Buy Side and Hedge Fund community.
Role Summary:
An experienced sales individual for the generation of new business opportunities in Hong Kong and surrounding territories. Selling a niche Risk Management and Analytics platform across the buy side with average deal size being $100,000 +. Individuals not currently based in Hong Kong but open to relocation also a possibility.
The successful candidate will:
- Be accountable for developing new business, pipeline development, prospecting, opportunity leads and networking
- Have a clear understanding of financial market, excellent domain knowledge in Derivatives
- Be responsible for validating business value and fit with pilots and prospects
- Ability to manage a deal process from start to finish including Cold Calling, Business Development, Deal Closing
- Be required to conduct sales planning and reporting activities including reporting of pipeline and sales forecasts
Essential:
- Solid experience selling financial software, ideally Risk and /or Analytics. Someone with Front Office systems experience may also be of interest
- Must have sold into the Buy Side (Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds, etc)
- Track record of exceeding sales quota’s
- Organisational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Must have a strong understanding of Derivatives as well as other asset classes
