Senior Strategy Manager, FTSE Business recruitment
We are working with a major consumer./ services facing business, based in London. They are now looking to recruit a highly commercial Senior Strategy Manager.
The role will involve the following:
Lead overall strategy for the business across the business
Lead and deliver the annual strategy review cycle for the business and engage with broader group as necessary
Support the provision of strategic and tactical advice to the executive and management team and to assist the preparation of business presentations as necessary
Proactively seek to understand and interpret market trends and seek to evaluate the strategies and tactics of competitors with the aim to identify opportunities or risks for the business
Support processes and mechanisms to ensure that competitive and market intelligence is captured and leveraged across the UK business and Europe/US
Own the intellectual content and successful delivery of specific internal and external projects
Lead MA activity
Opportunity sourcing and identification - target assessment and evaluation - oversight and co-ordination of internal approval process
Support identification and development of potential partnerships and new commercial opportunities in conjunction with the director of strategy and BD
Candidate background
Candidates will have a background as follows:
- Strategy consultants from tier one strategy consulting firms
- Corporate strategy professionals from other businesses, having been trained in a strategy consulting firm
- Candidates are likely to have between 6 – 10 years experience
- Highly commercial with strong interpersonal skills]
