Senior Structural Engineer
Jacobs Associates’ Pasadena office is looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience in structural engineering design to assist in the design of large scale public works and transit projects. Candidates with a background in the design of tunnels, underground structures and temporary excavation support systems, are preferred.
Responsibilities
•Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
•Ability to develop and review designs, drawings, specifications, and technical memoranda.
•Project Management experience and demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical staff
•In addition to design experience, AutoCAD and BIM modeling experience are considered advantageous.
•Strong technical writing skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
