About our Client

Our client is a leading service provider to the offshore oil and gas industry. Core services include facilities engineering from concept through to construction, offshore installation and contracting, drilling rig upgrades and specialty oilfield equipment supply. Due to a sustained pipeline of growth, they are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time position based in their busy Perth CBD office.

Job Description

As Senior Structural Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Working pro actively with team members to achieve goals and objectives
• Managing Brownfield projects
• Overseeing and coordinating vendors
• Supervising and assisting Engineers as required
• Overseeing the fabrication, construction and installation of your solutions
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance to applicable codes and standards
• Implementing any changes that may arise in an effective and timely manner.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role you will need to possess a Civil / Structural qualification. You will have gained solid experience in the Oil Gas industry and must be able to demonstrate experience with finite element analysis. The successful applicant also needs a minimum of ten years structural engineering experience, topside design experience is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills are desired along with high level Project Engineering and Management skills.
