SENIOR SUBSEA BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Job Summary Baker Hughes is looking for a senior subsea business development manager to support subsea strategy, business development, and tenders. The role requires experience in the deep water intervention business, knowledge of current subsea operations and technologies, knowledge of well control and marine regulations and their impact on the subsea business, and connections to major deep water operators and/or contractors. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Successful candidate will develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans for introduction of business into new geographic area and/or introduction of new business into already established area. Facilitate the formation of alliances or joint ventures. Assures strategies are consistent with overall objectives for the organization. Prioritizes product opportunities to maximize sales and profits. Monitors and evaluates programs and expenditures. Supervises personnel. Handles special projects, as assigned. Creates and contributes to plans, specifications or designs that guide individual, product or process development activities. Envisions ways of operating or achieving goals that do not currently exists in response to challenges and opportunities. Articulates the vision in a way that facilitates its transformation to an operational reality. Applies or leads the application of innovative ideas and systems to create a business or organizational advantage. Creates business, organizational or operational solutions or performance improvement initiatives by designing, developing and delivering specific processes, systems, tools, events and products intended to add value. Exercises direction and management to direct reports. Oversees controls and allocates resources and budgetary expenditures and ensures accountabilities and compliance work-related policies and procedures of direct reports. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 12 years experience in a related field. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions. Thorough understanding of products/systems. Good business acumen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment.
