Senior Sugar Trader
Our client, a global leading trading house, is seeking an experience sugar trader to join their team in Brazil. This person will be responsible for managing a trading team and developing the company’s presence across the domestic markets.
Responsibilities for the position:
- Trading physical sugar across Brazilian markets
- Work closely with Global Head of Sugar to expand the business and the companies presence across Brazilian and South American markets
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients
- Co-ordination with global offices for the making and taking of futures delivery, including leveraging sugar stocks against sugar spreads, arbitrage and other trading positions.
Skills / Attributes required for the role:
- 5+ years of sugar trading experience
- Physical experience
- Established client base
- Willing to locate in Brazil
- Portuguese speaking ideally
