Senior Summit Business Analyst – Global Investment Bank recruitment
My client, a leading Investment Bank is seeking to recruit a senior Summit Business Analyst to join Summit Team. Successful candidate will perform technical Summit analysis of customer requests, facilitate translation of high level business needs to development specifications, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Key Tasks:
Performing technical analysis on both new business requests and existing systems and processes.
Acting as a key point of contact for the customer management.
Facilitating communication between the business lines and Summit development.
Advising on configuration/specialist use of Summit related interfaces to meet business needs
Conversion of requirements gathered from stakeholders into appropriate documentation.
Rigorous quality assurance, ensuring high quality solutions for the business line.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of Summit and MarkitWire API (circa 5+ years experience)
Excellent technical analysis with respect to business needs relating to the Summit environment. The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Experience in dealing with Summit users and successfully eliciting detailed information from them under pressured circumstances.
Extensive knowledge of Summits role WRT the MarkitWire IRD products, processes, the market risk environment and associated workflows.
Strong communication skills with proven business expectation management.
Proven focus on quality assurance and a track record of rigorous attention to detail.
An appropriate level of technical IT knowledge is essential. As a minimum, the candidate must evidence a technical understanding of the Summit trading system and the MarkitWire trading platform, with focus on IRD, FX and exchange traded interest rate/FX products.
A high degree of individual responsibility. The ability to own a task and see it through from inception to close.
