Senior Support Analyst (Application Service Delivery) recruitment
The Senior Support Analyst is responsible for, providing on-site applications support to users within different business units including Markets, PS, and CRC Operations. The candidate will be responsible for day to day operations related with batch completion of critical Data warehouse and other critical applications in the bank. The candidate will also responsible for analyzing the performance and service delivery of critical applications and look for ways to enhance the business applications.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- 2nd Level Application Support and Service Delivery
- Management Mitigation of Serious Production Incidents
- Mentoring of junior team members and providing technical help
- Application Monitoring Availability Reporting
- Configuration Management
- Problem Management Application Issues Management
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- 6-8 years of technical experience supporting time critical applications with minimum 2-3 years in enterprise data warehouse applications
- Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts, retention of records with multiple versions, dimensions and facts
- Prior experience of dealing with multiple data sources and data validation and data integration
- Specialist level knowledge on Informatica 8.1 and above, Oracle 10g/11g ,BO XI R3 ,SQL and PL/SQL and Sybase database
- Very good understanding of performance tuning concepts in Oracle, Sybase and Informatica
- Should have experience in database size estimations and projections
- Good knowledge on Unix, Autosys, Perl and shell scripting
- Prior knowledge of financial services sector [e.g. Wealth Management, Equities, Core Banking, Market Risk Management] is highly desirable
- Use technical and analytical expertise and knowledge of systems to resolve problems internally or through outside vendors and manufacturers
- Plan, manage and implement global deployment of business applications, including demonstrating new products to business users.
- Proactively seek ways to provide a better service e.g. implementing new products or enhancements.
