As a Senior Support Consultant – Patching your main responsibilities will involve:

 

• Making sure that the appropriate systems and applications are installed, configured and maintained

• Seeing to it that the networking security perimeter for the infrastructures we manage is in line with industry standards

• Providing high-quality third line technical support by diagnosing and resolving system faults

• Maintaining customer systems during off-peak hours

• Producing articles and technical information to be distributed among the team

 

 

 

 

As a Senior Support Consultant – Patching your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

• A Microsoft and/or Linux certification

• Experience of applying OS patches in a hosted customer environment

• A detailed understanding of data network infrastructures, architectures and

connectivity

• Solid technical documentation skills

• A high degree of flexibility and the ability to effectively manage your own workload

 

What we will be looking for in you:

 

Outstanding presentation and communication skills are a must, and you’ll need the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
