Senior System administrator – Banking sector
My client is a top-tier, global asset management company. They are now one the largest asset manager in the world.

Job description :
Your role will perform the system administration of the business applications. Support the applications during the entire life cycle. The applications are predominantly running on Windows, some are Solaris based.
- suggest technical designs that pass the mandatory disaster recovery tests
- ensure all technical components run within the predefined quality scope
- deliver 2nd line support for the business applications
- document the applications according to the internal standards
- identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization
- install and maintain the assigned business applications (all environments)
Profile:
- Higher degree in computer-science (not necessarily University degree)
- At least 5 years of in-depth experience with Microsoft operating systems. Knowledge of Sun Solaris systems or Linux is a strong asset.
- Expertise in some of the following domains is required: fix protocol, performance analysis and trouble shooting of multi-tier applications, disaster recovery technologies
- Expertise in some of the following applications is required order and portfolio management systems (LatentZero Minerva, Tesseract, Sentinel), middleware products (Tibco SmartSockets, IBM MQ Series), Citrix Metaframe Presenation Server 4 or higher"
- Working Collaboratively: A desire to work co-operatively with others to maximize effectiveness within own team, across the international network. Achieve optimal performance and minimize duplication effort.
- Work autonomous and have a critical mind-set
- You are bilingual French/ English, Dutch is a plus
