Make a difference at one of the largest and most respected universities in the nation by driving state-of-the-art VMWare virtualization architecture for central IT initiatives. Stay on the cutting edge of virtualization technology by charting the course for UT Austin’s virtual environments to solve business needs at the University. Define the virtualization framework for critical infrastructure projects including a multi-location Site Recovery Manager implementation. Lead efforts to maintain, enhance, and scale our existing virtualization offerings. Use exceptional collaborative and project management skills to build relationships across the University and UT System to increase the impact and scope of centralized virtual infrastructure.
