Perform enterprise Active Directory administration and Microsoft Exchange administration, in a mixed Windows 2003/2008 server environment. Provision, deploy, integrate, maintain and repair servers and peripherals. Manage virtual machines in a VMware environment. Responsible for system security and data integrity. Uses enterprise tools to monitor use of resources, manage and report configuration items, and support enterprise configuration management. Provide Microsoft and third party vendor patch management and administration. Prepare servers, workstations, and appliances in accordance with Dept of Defense Security Technology Implementation Guidelines (STIGs). Experience with the DISA Vulnerability Management System (VMS), use of Retina security scanning software, and documenting STIG results to meet DOD reporting requirements. Experience with SCCM for system patching and general system maintenance. Familiar with ITIL, project management plans, and use of BMC Remedy ticketing system.

Maintain servers and other computer devices; Analyze system logs and identifies potential issues; Perform monitoring and performance tuning; Provide user/group administration via Active Directory; Perform scripting to automate services and refine procedures.
Expertise in the following:
Credant, Barracuda, Department of Defense PKI/CAC, Exchange 2003/2010, Blackberry Enterprise Server, MS-SQL 2005/2008, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
VMware ESXi 4.x, SAN/NAS NetApp, EMC, Brocade, QLogic
Symantec NetBackup software, job scheduling, auditing and reports.
Linux, Solaris.
Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
- Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with completed SSBI.
- Security+ certification or higher is required.
- Current Microsoft Server Operating System (Server 2003, 2008 or 2008R2) (OS) certification or official training course completion certificate.
- Skilled in Windows enterprise system administration, including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, NetBackup, and Microsoft SQL Server.
