119598- We are looking for a Senior Systems / Business Analyst that has strong knowledge of the front office business. You must have solid experience working in the investment industry and have good hands on skills with SQL or PL / SQL.
We are looking for a candidate with good knowledge of fixed income, equities, derivatives or hedge funds. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Qualifications:
- Seven to ten years experience in the Financial Services industry, with five years of experience in the Investment industry or global capital markets.
- Hedge Fund or Trust Company Business Systems experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis for medium to large initiatives including knowledge of software requirements gathering processes.
- Demonstrated client focus and relationship management skills.
- Clear ability to understand complex concepts and to learn quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL and relational database technology.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical production environment.
- Strong delivery focus.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; CFA charter, or work towards one is preferred.
We are seeking candidates for a Senior Systems Analyst position who will work closely with the Business and Technology teams to help define, implement and support technology solutions to business problems.
Responsibilities -
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple business teams.
- Work closely with these investment professionals to understand business problems and to define effective solutions.
- Coordinate with teams across the IS department in technical design, solution identification evaluation, and final candidate selection.
- Actively participate in the analysis of requirements, detailed functional design, test, deployment, and support of new technology solutions implemented.
- Provide ongoing issue tracking, error resolution and status reporting.
- Stay abreast of the “state of the art” as it relates to technology trends and business processes, both with our client and throughout the industry.
