On behalf of our client, an Australian owned systems integrator, we offer an excellent contract opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer with expert knowledge across VMWare, Microsoft Server, Messaging and Storage.
The key responsibilities of this role will be to apply expert level knowledge to the design and implementation of the latest offerings across VMWare, MS Win 03/08, AD, Exchange 07/10, Storage etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution outlines and proposals.
- Produce Solution Architecture and Design documentation.
- Implement solutions encompassing entire infrastructure stack.
Key Technologies:
- VMWare vSphere 4, VMWare View, vCenter 4
- MS Windows Server 2003/08.
- MS Active Directory 2003/08.
- MS Exchange 2007/10.
- Storage - SAN/NAS - preferably HP EVA NetApp.
- Backup technologies.
- IPTel, VoIP.
- Cisco, SonicWall or HP networking.
The ideal candidate will have a good spread of experience across the majority of the above technologies, with a particular focus around project design and implementation. You will also have a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Engineer.
Relevant VMWare, Citrix AND Microsoft (MCSE, MCITP) certifications are desirable.
