Job Description
Working as the Senior Systems Engineer, this role will see you provide project upgrades on a variety of motorways along with other NSW assets covering specialised Intelligent Transport Systems. The scope includes, but is not limited to, Tolling Systems, Operational Management and Control Systems (OMCS), Electronic Signs, Plant Management and Control Management (PMCS), Traffic Flow System, Building Management Systems (BMS), video based automated Incident detection (AID), CCTV Systems and networks.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Develop ITS system and technical specifications and design documentation
- Prepare tenders and manage the tender process for ITS deliverables.
- Manage technical requirements and traceability between specifications and test documentation.
- Review contractor deliverables and prepare completion packages.
- Manage contractors and coordinate installation and commissioning activities with Projects. Supervise and inspect ITS Contractor works.
- Conduct engineering studies on ITS equipment assessing current conditions and proposed upgrade paths.
- Develop ITS System Level Designs and architectures.
- Develop ITS system and technical specifications.
