Senior Tax Accountant Job in Melbourne 3000, Victoria Australia
This dynamic ASX listed organisation is currently experiencing significant growth due to a large project they have recently undertaken. As a direct result of this project, an opportunity has arisen for a Tax Accountant to join the organisation.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Tax Manager, the role is a mix between compliance and advisory. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing various income tax schedules for tax returns
- Preparing journals for tax effect accounting
- General ledger reconciliations for tax expense
- Reconciling withholding tax
- Providing tax advice to various Business Units and senior stakeholders
- Ad-hoc project work
Key Skills and Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will have approximately 4 years or more tax compliance and advisory experience, ideally from a Chartered Accounting environment. You will also be a team player with excellent communication skills.
