Senior Tax Accountant (Supervisor) Job in Coral Gables 33134, Florida Us
Individual will be responsible for the preparation of complicated tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high net-worth individuals. Individual will be responsible for preparing financial statements for compilation and review engagements. Individual will perform tax research and document conclusions in written memoranda or opinions. Individual will prepare written responses to notices received by taxpayers from the IRS or state authorities and assist with examinations by the IRS or state taxing authorities. This position will require the supervision of others in the completion of the assignments as well as the willingness and ability to perform the work themselves as required. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a strong tax technical background with research and compliance experience with Corporate/Partnership, International, and Individual taxation. It is preferable that the candidate has strong accounting background, supervisory skills, and experience using the Creative Solutions suite of software. The candidate must be fluent in oral and written Spanish and English.
