Senior Tax Manager – Blue-chip – North Sydney – $180
About the Job
This highly respected organisation is currently looking for Senior Tax Manager with a strong background in tax reporting and forecasting, strategy as well as risk management and process improvement.
The successful candidate will:
Manage all aspects of tax reporting on a day to day basis.
Embed and maintain appropriate tax reporting processes and controls within Tax and Finance environments
Manage complex tax reporting issues and coordinate with Accounting Policy team as necessary e.g. review corporate tax reporting impacts of new entities or changes to structures
Work closely with Financial Control teams across locations to understand business activities and identify tax issues
Work closely with Tax functional teams (advisory, planning, GST) to identify and manage tax risk in a controlled environment
Manage all aspects of tax forecasting
Provide accurate and timely business tax forecasts, to enable accurate forecasting of the overall Group tax position, and to optimise capital efficiency and business returns
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CA or equivalent) with corporation tax and/or tax accounting background. Experience in the Industry sector would be preferred.
