Modis is seeking a Senior Technical Architect with expertise in Core Java/JEE and open source frameworks to support our client’s application architecture and development efforts.
Required skills:
· At least 15 years of Industry experience with at least 7 years of Architect level experience who can work in a fast paced environment with evolving requirements.
· Must be very hands on and ready to wear several hats: Application Architect, Solutions Architect, Technology Guru, Technical Leader and Senior Developer.
· Well rounded skills in Java/JEE to provide end to end Enterprise solutions for Financial Services domain.
· Expert in Architecture and Design skills. Sound understanding of Design patterns.
· Very good in creating and understanding UML artifacts.
· Expertise in the understanding of architectural principles and their implications to system design, security, system extensibility and interoperability, costs, and operational considerations.
· Proficient in Open Source technologies.
· Expert level knowledge of GWT and other Web 2.0 technologies.
· Well versed in architecting appealing rich user interfacing applications with very good usability.
· Expert in Core Java/JEE and integrating Java/EE systems with other technologies.
· Good track record in terms of using open source frameworks and tools.
· Strong in Drools and JBPM
· Experience in Web services and service oriented environment.
· Guru in Business and Integration tiers with very good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate and JPA.
· Very Strong in terms of refactoring, best coding practices and code organization.
· Strong experience deploying applications in WebSphere application server.
· Good working knowledge of Oracle database.
· Working knowledge of Maven build process, Cruise Control and version control systems like Subversion
· Experience in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
