My client, a leading Australian Bank, has recently initiated a large scale transformation programme and growth strategy to double in size over the next five years. The bank will be strengthening their already prevalent Australian businesses but will also grow their Asia Pacific presence to become a serious global markets player in the region. Technology will support and become a major part of this transformation and as such, they are embarking on a number of in house built, greenfield projects.
The successful incumbent of this position will provide advanced 3rd level technical Windows server infrastructure support:
- Windows server platform and Active Directory incident resolution
- Low-impact platform maintenance eg: security patching
- Champion strategic change management to improve service
- Maintaining adherence to Compliance obligations
- Providing technical leadership to WSM
Position Requirements:
- Highest escalation point of escalation for Windows server and Active Directory (2000, 2003, 2008) operational matters
- Platform maintenance (remediation, security fixes and platform upgrades)
- Proactive identification and communication of problem assets, providing options to reduce risk
- Day-to-day duties will expose the following key areas;

- Configuration Management
- Build a dynamic team culture
- Providing subject matter expertise in the form of non-functional requirements to projects

- Maintain documentation including knowledge solution documents
Technical requirements:
- Microsoft HPC
- Microsoft qualifications in Windows Server related technologies
- Microsoft Windows Server 2000-2008, all variations
- Active Directory 2000-2008
- Microsoft Cluster Services
- Citrix
- Web technologies
- Networking protocols and topologies
