Senior Technical Developer – Leading Hedge Fund – London/Oxford recruitment
The successful candidate will be involved in the entire development lifecycle and responsible for assessing and planning for broader architectural requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, co-ordinating and supervising all activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into the organization's information systems.
- Testing the interoperability of application modules under development by in-house development teams.
- Implementing custom workflow, collaboration and document management solutions in SharePoint Server.
Person specification:
- Considerable experience of C#.Net.
- Extensive SharePoint experience, including APIs.
- Application development experience.
- Knowledge of development framework and software development lifecycle.
- Integrating enterprise middleware (e.g. CRM, ERP).
- Experience of turning business requirements into a functional specification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
Desirable (but not essential) skills:
- Web development experience (e.g. Javascript, Ajax, HTML5).
- Scripting experience (e.g. Python, Perl).
- Knowledge of Java and C++
- Technical leadership experience
- Knowledge of managing full project lifecycle (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience of working in Linux environments.
