Our client is a market leader in manufacturing and distributing of capital equipment parts into the MINING and heavy construction industry. Due to rapid growth, outstanding turn over and focus on being No. 1 in the market our client is seeking a dynamic product sales specialist to call on major Clients within the mine sites in the Hunter valley
Your role within this company will be to expand a technical mechanical drive line product through out HV. And to also build major accounts throughout these areas. The company provides up grade systems for large mining equipment. If you have experience within CAT or Komatsu systems this would highly desirable.
. Reporting to the National Sales manager, you will be expected to:
· Key account management to clients such as RIO BHP
· Ensure that sales of Mechanical Equipment and associated system performance are capable of meeting business needs.
· Business development to key clients within the Mining districst of HV
· Reading the market trends and switching to alternative mean of sales.
· Audit engineering/maintenance systems, activities to ensure compliance with company standards.
· Cross selling through other business units and providing leads to other areas of the business.
· Provide operational and specialist mechanical engineering support to modification or study teams or projects.
· Increase market share for the NSW Operation
Candidates MUST have:
· Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with the technical and staff at all levels.
· Contacts throughout the Hunter valley
· Strong skills in Mechanical Engineering problem solving.
· A solid understanding of Komatsu or Cat products.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years external sales
Experience selling parts or large mining application systems. You will ideally come from an industrial field where you have been selling high value solutions to large engineering accounts. Those whom have a mechanical tertiary qualification will be most highly regarded.
