Senior Technical Manager Job in Somerset, South West UK
My client, an established FMCG manufacturing business, is looking to recruit an ambitious Technical Manager, looking to progress their career.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Degree educated, preferably a Food Science/ Technology graduate with 5+ years technical management experience
Experienced Technical Manager in a “best practice” environment, ideally with experience within BRC A grade, food manufacturing environment.
Experience in Health, Safety and Environmental Management; Auditing of suppliers, internal quality, food, health safety audits, obtaining and maintaining formal Quality Management Systems accreditations to BRC and EFSIS standards
Demonstrable experience of delivering change programs and quality improvements, in a fast paced, demanding environment is essential.
Proven track record of managing, coaching, and developing a QA/technical team.
Proven Track record of managing and developing a hygiene team. Able to provide technical and systems development support to Hygiene Manager.
Lead and delivered significant projects within a food manufacturing environment
Training experience desirable.
Word, Excel, Powerpoint,
Qualified Quality System auditor with extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, 22000, HACCP, BRC (v5), AIB.
