Job Description

This position is for a senior-level software project manager for the new product development team. You will work with a cross-functional, multi-national team throughout the development life-cycle to define, develop and deploy applications and their updates. You will be accountable for the successful completion of projects on time, within budget and with excellent quality. The position also entails the following: Planning resources, costs and time-frames to ensure project success. Monitoring and controlling team progress and ensure on-time delivery. Maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies, quality system and project goals. Managing project risks and implementing contingency plans to mitigate unforeseen events and changes in strategy. Presenting project proposals and status reviews to executive staff and other audiences. In order to accomplish everything above, we are looking for someone with the following capabilities:


Desired Skills Experience

• Strong software skills including excellent understanding of software development life-cycle management practices – both classical and Agile methodologies. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment as part of a team. • Ability to convey ideas and concepts to a wide range of audiences including the clinical community, product management and engineers is essential. • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to communicate information effectively to executives, marketing, managers, and technical staff. • Ability to interact effectively with peers across departments, business units and sites. • Strong analytic, planning and decision-making skills. • Strong quality orientation and customer focus. 

• Have a strong technical background with a total of 10 years experience in new product development. • Have 5 years experience leading SW projects of 30+ people, including offshore development. • Experience in developing new products with third party vendors or in a global organization. • Familiarity with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) including PMP certification or equivalent • Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Certified Scrum Master training or equivalent. • Occasional domestic and international travel required (10% - 30%).
