Senior Technology Analyst
SUMMARY
As a Digitas Technology Senior Analyst you’ll be part of a dynamic technical team creating some of the most innovative Internet-based solutions for Digitas’ fortune 500 clients. Leveraging your technical skills, you’ll be performing a wide range of tasks; creating and maintaining technical documentation; managing the quality assurance process, participating in brainstorming sessions and managing client expectations, vendor management to name a few. Additionally you’ll support the managers and engineers as projects move through their lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Experience
- 2-3- years of web programming, management, or comparable experience
- 1-2 years leading a technical and/or cross-functional team preferred
Education
- BA or BS, preferably in computer science, engineering, or science/technology-based discipline
- Project management certifications a plus
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Able to understand business and technical processes to enable technology solutions to support client’s business
- Able to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively
- Knowledge of QA processes and conventions
- Knowledge of project management methodologies: Scrum and Waterfall as examples
- Able to effectively time manage tasks
- Able to identify and communicate project and team risks to senior team members and/or leadership
- Demonstrate leadership in providing effective team approaches and processes
- Ability to decompose larger efforts into tasks for delegation to other team members
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions
- Support, create and maintain functional, business and technical and other project-related documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to overall technical direction of Technology
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues
- Participate in the identification, evaluation and selection of 3rd party vendors whose services are required for the successful completion of a project
- Participate in the staffing process
- Partner with your technical lead to ensure high quality and timely development and delivery
- Support in ensuring proper utilization and billability of the Technology project team
- Work closely with the project team to determine daily project status
- Partner with QA to manage the overall quality assurance execution
- Participate in client discussions regarding status and provide technology insights and recommendations
- Ensure that Technology staff performance on projects meets Client, Department and Corporate Standards / Processes
