Senior Technology Manager


Johnson Johnson's Global Finance Services (GFS) Team a member of Johnson Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Technology Manager, GFS Tax, located in New Brunswick, NJ.

Johnson Johnson's Corporate Tax and Global Financial Services (GFS) Teams are implementing an exciting, transformational Global Finance/Tax Standardization vision as an enterprise-wide priority. Corporate Tax and GFS is seeking a Sr. Technology Manager - GFS Tax to join the Global Tax Technology Team.

This position will assist the JJ global tax/finance community, GFS, JJ Information Technology Services and various JJ ERP teams in the i) design and implementation of a business warehouse for tax and legal entity data, ii) migration of existing tax data and technology tools to the warehouse, iii) support the deployment of this warehouse to the global tax community, and iv) deployment of tax technology tools resulting from various global initiatives (e.g., indirect tax bolt-ons, global tax provision, cross-border service fees, etc.). In addition, this position will assist with certain tax reporting and planning projects.

This position requires specific experience in at least one of the following areas: information technology development and support of tax and/or financial applications.

Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 7 years of experience with one of the following substantive areas and at least 2 years of experience with the other: a) tax reporting and b) information technology (including enterprise-wide/ERP systems, database design/ configuration [e.g., SQL server, Oracle, etc.]; ERP systems [e.g., SAP or JDE]; systems analysis, and/or equivalent experience) is required. Application development/programming experience, an understanding of Process Excellence (Six Sigma), and strong presentation skills and written/verbal communications are preferred. This position will require up to 15% travel (domestic and international).
