Senior Test Analyst – Contract Position – Australian Organisation

This Australian Company has recently initiated a large scale project and is therefore looking to increase their head count with new contractors. This is a great opportunity to join a well established and successful company. If you prove your skill set and attitude while working for them, these contract roles can become indefinite. These are true day rate contract positions which are becoming rarer in our QA market. Peoplesoft experience is a necessity.
Role Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for writing and executing test cases, and performing manual and automated testing.
- Liaise with the business and IT teams in order to clarify business solutions and to achieve resolution of system defects.
- Assist Test Manager with establishing Test Execution Status Reports and Test Summary Reports, and all documentation.
- Assist Test Manager in mentoring of less experienced Test Analysts
- Be responsible for assigned workload and management of all defects found
Required experience and Qualification:
- Minimum 5+ years continuous testing experience, career contractor preferred.
- Proven experience in Peoplesoft
- Proven experience with test tools in QC and QPT.
- Proven experience in designing, writing and executing(manual) test cases/scenarios.
- Proven experience identifying and documenting defects.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong Automated knowledge is essential.
- Tertiary Education within relevant field.
