Senior Test Analyst / Leading DOTCOM / LONDON Job in London, London UK
One of the leading UK (and International) dotcom ecommerce website is looking to set up a new QA department in their London based office. Test Analyst's please take note, you WILL have heard of this firm, and most likely used their website already!
As a Senior Test Analyst you will work with the Test Manager to build the automated framework and run manual and automated tests (Predominantly functional) on their leading, high traffic website. As a tester you'll also work to test new mobile applications for IPhone, Android, IPad and Blackberry devices. The framework is being built as we speak so the successful Test Analyst / Senior Software Tester will be able to hit the ground running coding automated tests using Selenium RC. Using Java would be preferable, however applications will be welcomed from testers who have worked with ANY OOP language, as long as they can script new test scripts from scratch. E.g you may be working with Java, C#, PHP, Ruby, Shell, or automated tools such as Selenium, Ruby, Cucumber, SoapUI, QTP etc.
Testers with prior experience working on web based applications or websites are strongly encouraged to apply. Mobile application testing experience is advantageous but not necessary to be successful.
As a Senior Automated Tester you will have the opportunity to join one of the UK's leading dotcoms brands in a senior role and put your own stamp on the success of the businesses. It will suit Senior Software Testers / Quality Assurance Analysts who are looking to progress their career in a well-established organisation. The successful Senior Test Analyst will receive a generous salary package of £45000 to £55000 including bonuses and benefits.
