Senior Test Engineer Job in Frankfurt, Hessen Germany
Required Skills:
The position does require very good network and protocol knowledge with in-depth physical layer air interface know how in at least one of the following 3GPP (UMTS/HSPA/LTE) technologies or in-depth knowledge of VoLTE/IMS.
-A strong familiarity and understanding of 3GPP wireless standard is mandatory
-Understanding of the GSM/UMTS/LTE protocol stack and complete call flows is required
Its advantageous to have additional extensive experience in at least in one of the following areas:
-Hands-on experience with tools (e.g. Ethereal, Wire shark) for IP protocol suites data logging/analysis and troubleshooting
-Understanding of ATM, IP, TCP, UDP, SIP, RADIUS, DIAMETER protocol suites and troubleshooting experience.
-Experience with UMTS/LTE network design, network troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and optimization
Experience:
Ideally candidates have 4 to 6 years experience within one of the following areas: Interoperability Testing (UE RAN), Radio Access Network System Test or Mobile Network System Test complemented by Live Network Performance Testing
