Senior Test Lead – Australian Business – 12 month day rate contract

A long term Hudson client is looking to recruit for a new Test Lead, to help grow and mentor a new QA team within a new project.
Due to increasing demand, our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Test Lead to join their team to work on a critical project based here in Sydney.
This is an exciting role because it is a totally new project and team, you can really make an impact and work on something fresh.
Role responsibilities:
- Help manage the test activities for a specific Project.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst maximising current network.
- Assist in ownership of the overall Testing Framework, including standards, processes, tools, test plans, cases and templates.
- Responsibility for all the testing phases.
- Helping train and mentor new test team.
- Establish Test Execution Status Reports and Test Summary Reports
- Developing test related documentation standards and systems
Required experience and Qualification:
- 8 years in the QA industry and 3 years of Test Leadership.
- Preferably experience with Peoplesoft.
- Experience in establishing new test teams and strategy.
- Demonstrated proficiency in supporting business process improvement activities
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Knowledge or experience with Data and Systems Architecture.
- Proven E2E testing experience
- ISTQB
- Tertiary Education within relevant field.
