Senior Test Manager recruitment

Leading Global Asset Management organisation requires a Senior Test Manager to provide line management of testing resources and ownership of test processes. You will have management oversight of the IT Test Environments booking, building and maintenance programme to support project testing and change initiative testing. You will manage the testing workload by interfacing between project managers and test resources to produce and manage a current resource plan. You will work in partnership with the project managers and the environments build team, develop and maintain a focus to ensure test environments are built and managed in a controlled and predictable manner.

•  A full understanding of the project life cycle

•  A full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how the testing life cycle fits into the SDLC

•  Ability to offer solutions options rather than a tendency to focus on a problem

•  Relationship builder, working in partnership with other members of IT to ensure collective success

•  Able to generate enthusiasm at both an individual level and at the wider team level

•  Approachable able to work with people at all levels in the organisation

•  Inquisitive, pro-active, with good logical, analytical, and diagnostic skills

•  Expert in using Microsoft Office tools including Visio and MS Project

•  Experienced in forward planning

•  Previous project management experience would be of benefit

•  Experienced in testing software within Asset Management and/or investment banking, including knowledge of the Capstone application suite, Thhinkfolio,Eagle PACE, Tidal and decision support tools
