Senior Tester – FINANCIAL VENDOR – Manual & Automation – £55k recruitment
Senior tester is currently required for a top vendor based in the heart of the city. With the growth of their product they are looking to bring in a senior tester to come in and act as the QA manager for this product. There are currently testers in the UK and offshore and as such those keen on the career progression will be given the guidance and training required to grow into that role with the growth of the product.
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 3-4 years experience of working in a QA team at a software vendor or service provider, ideally in the field of financial software but those from a commercial vendor will also be high sought after. One of the key deciders is those who have the ability to ty to lead the QA function autonomously
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of standard software testing processes, experience in testing browser-based user interfaces, experience and ability in writing test scripts and documenting testing processes and an understanding of automated testing and ability to implement automated tests, with a strong preference for those with experience using Selenium and Fitnesse.
Reasonable knowledge of SQL and good general technical grounding, experience using standard bug tracking systems (and especially Jira) desirable, and some financial domain exposure in one or more areas such as post-trade processing, SWIFT/FIX messages, reconciliations is desirable.
