Our client is a leading commercial bank in China providing a comprehensive range of commercial banking products and services. It is now seeking a high caliber individual to join its Trade Finance department.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day trade finance operations, which includes processing of trade finance transactions, settlements, examining trade documents in accordance with relevant rules and regulations, negotiation of trade documents and approving of transactions. You will handle a wide range of trade finance products and also perform SWIFT operations. There will also be opportunities to be involved in ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience in Trade Finance operations and all trade finance products, with in-depth knowledge in the products’ technicalities. You are confident, independent and meticulous in examining trade documents. You possess a good understanding of relevant trade rules and SWIFT operations. Knowledge of Guarantees / SBLC and experience in Eximbills system would be an advantage. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak and read Chinese is a must.
