Senior Training Consultant


Sr. Training Consultant is responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating training programs that allow our clients to effectively utilize our software products. The Sr. Training Consultant partners with our clients, during and post implementation, to ensure they derive the maximum value of our products and are able to efficiently use them for key decision support for their business during implementation and ongoing production.

This function plays a critical role in within the product delivery team in development and delivery of instructional design and delivery utilizing multiple venues (e.g. eLearning, WebEx, classroom). In addition, this role is actively engaged in providing expertise in our product offerings to internal and external clients and is part of internal product readiness and testing processes.

This function actively works with clients in a consultative manner, and advises clients on best practices and how to achieve optimal value from our products. Their work directly impacts client satisfaction/retention of our products through by ensuring customers derive optimal value and business use.

Supports program delivery meeting quality, schedule, milestones and budget commitments
Develops product training curriculums that are effective, efficient, repeatable and consistent.
Ensures training meets client audience requirements and develops alternative materials as required to meet client needs
Maintains standards of product training team and meets or exceeds deliverable deadlines and quality
Actively participates in continuous improvement activities of team and ensures accurate and timely measurement and recording of training programs.
Actively participates in team development initiatives
Provides status updates and escalates concerns as needed.
Builds and sustains relationships with both internal and external business partners to effectively administer programs, resolve issues, and support ongoing program improvements.
Improves relevancy of programs by staying current with trends, concepts, leadership strategies and key stakeholders.
Works effectively independently and on teams

Required:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
4+ years experience gathering/analyzing customer business requirements
3+ years experience utilizing adult learning theory to develop instructional materials and programs to meet customer business needs
4+ years experience delivering in-person and remote training programs on technical products or services
2+ years developing eLearning programs
Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
Microsoft Office proficient

Preferred:

Masters degree desired
Experience with training on packaged decision support or analytical software
Healthcare experience
2 + years of SQL experience
Instructional Design Certificate
eLearning Certificate
Experience in managing clients and curriculums through learning management system
Matrix working environment experience
