Senior Treasury Accounting and Finance Manager (Ref: 3636) recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Establish accounting policies and procedures for new treasury products
- Prepare desk top manuals for daily monitoring of treasury transactions, including treasury PL reporting, mark-to-market valuation and market risk limit control
- Review system functions to ensure that booking and recognizing the structured components of the new treasury product are complete, effective and in accordance with the Group accounting policies and IFRS
- Participate in special treasury projects, including design and development of hedging accounting effective test, documentations, related PL booking and reporting
- Co-ordinate user acceptance tests for new features of treasury systems
Requirement:
- University graduated in Accounting, Risk Management, Finance or related disciplines; Qualified Accountant is preferable.
- Minimum 8 years' managerial/supervisory experience in Market Risk/ Treasury Finance/ Product Controls and Reporting, preferably with financial institutions
- Sound knowledge in foreign exchange, bonds, swaps and other treasury products
- Practical knowledge in hedging accounting, valuation model and/or Fund Transfer Pricing is an advantage
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Self- motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
